Greetings from your new Creation Club Curator!
You probably already know about the biggest three creation ministries online:
All have amazing websites crammed with information on practically anything you might want to know. There is even a Search Creation engine helping us quickly find answers from these websites and others like David Rives Ministries.
But did you know all this is still just scratching the surface of the community of people who care passionately about science, the Bible, and our Creator Jesus Christ?
There is even a network helping independent creationists connect with families and churches that is thriving on prayer, support, and encouragement for all of us. The International Association for Creation has a suite of ministries helping creation speakers and museums connect with the Christian community and each other.
So, where does the Creation Club fit in?
When I started out as an independent creation voice, the only creationist ministries I knew were so big they had a TV presence. I had found the Big Three (see above) and Creation Today, but David Rives hadn’t even started hosting his show yet! The more I looked around online, though, the more I realized there were lots of people boldly proclaiming the reality of our biblical origins. It was exciting, but also a little frustrating to realize how difficult it was to find each other when we don’t have a major platform of our own.
David Rives realized this same issue and decided to leverage his platform to help us out!
The Creation Club has been sharing articles from independent creationists since early 2014. It is a place for fellow creationists to find out what we are doing, a place to share what we are most excited about, a place to give new voices a opportunity to share their thoughts.
Some contributors are seasoned pros. They know how to turn a phrase and share information we would have trouble finding because we didn’t even know it existed. Some are on the theological side sharing how our view of biblical creation affects our view of God. Some have strong online presences of their own, while others haven’t bought a domain name yet. Many of us are excited learners ready to try our hand at communicating and stretching our abilities.
Our viewpoints on different issues within biblical, recent creation can vary widely. The Bible leaves a lot of room for study on every area of science and what makes sense to us can be surprisingly different. This is true even if you read the scientific journals [CRS is the grandfather of these and Answers Journal is freely available online], and amateur science lovers are no different!
Moving Forward
Another voice we are excited to encourage is the one of the next generation. Yes, there is a concerted attack on the faith of our young people, but many of them are recognizing how hollow the opposition is and are willing to stand strong with their Savior. The Creation Club is a perfect environment to allow them to share their thoughts and develop their skills at presentation with a real world audience.
I’m sure it will warm our hearts to see the bravery and passion of these young people!
Finally, for myself, I’m hoping to see the Creation Club be a place of positive testimonies. Those of us speaking out on creation know both how discouraging the opposition can be but how powerful the creation message is. The Creation Club can be a place where we share our first hand experiences of God at work today—in our culture, at this time.
I’ve heard plenty of creationists who remember the ‘glory days’ of Duane Gish and Henry Morris. For them, it seems the battle is failing because they find more and more gray hair in their audience. But Jesus’ Gospel and his testimony in Genesis are as powerful today as ever. Just, the methods we use to share and learn about creation have changed since that earlier generation!
To date, the Creation Club has nearly 1,600 articles published. I pray it becomes far larger than this as we share our hearts, minds, and goals with each other to increase our confidence our great Creator God!
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. Malachi 3:16 (one of my all time favorite verses)

Good stuff! Creationists need a place where unconnected creation advocates can find a platform to share their insight, and place to connect with other unconnected creationists. THANKS.
That’s exactly what David Rives thought. And Jesus has blessed him with the resources and talent to make it happen! Be sure to tell all your friends to come hang out here, too. 🙂
I can’t even begin to explain what a blessing The Creation Club has been. I’ve always followed the “Big Three” mentioned, and The Creation Club has brought fourth so many more! Since I found this forum, I have been inspired and educated by so many Christians and creationists as well – from scientists to lay, seasoned to amateur. And posting them daily!!! Cheri is doing an incredible job of hunting down a wide variety of posts and genres and really deserves gratitude. (Just try blogging once a week!) I know she puts in large amounts of time to bring us this content DAILY on this forum. Thank you Cheri and thank you David Rives! We know the daily sacrifices being made. Psalm 68:19 “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.”
