How does a virus fit into God’s plan? Now, that’s probably a question that we probably haven’t thought of because when we think of viruses, we think of rotten things, don’t we? We think of things like deaths, such as those caused by Covid-19. It scared us, and it has killed many thousands of people across the globe.
So, when we hear about death, we get scared of this invisible enemy. Now, I’m going to appeal to you because first, I’m a Christian and I know that God is in full control. So, as we look at this topic, I want you to think that God is invisible and as we look at this enemy that is too small for us to see, we can remember we have an invisible Savior that still acts in visible ways in his creation.
When we think of viruses, we can’t help but think of bad things, such as measles, HVS, polio, rabies, hepatitis, mumps, Ebola, and the list goes on.
As creationists we believe God when he says:
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31)
But, how does this fit into a world swarming with microscopic death machines?
