We’re going to talk about a really special kind of rock today called gastroliths. Lith is Latin for rock. Gastro deals with the intestinal tract of an animal. So these are rocks found in the intestines of animals, but very specific animals.

Alligators have them. Many kind of birds have them.

What are they?
