Genesis Apologetics
Sometimes it’s good to slow down and consider the realities presented to us in the biblical text. Jesus really walked for miles with two of his disciples as they left Jerusalem in discouragement. But a few hours in his company transformed them into excited, brave witnesses to the truth they had both seen and heard.
From the first page of Genesis to the end of the Old Testament, there are whispers and pictures of what the coming Messiah would be like. While we aren’t likely to have Jesus show up to hold a conversation with us, we have access to the same Scriptures he used. The trick is to keep our eyes open as we read the Old Testament so the Holy Spirit can show Jesus to us as we read!
