In May, 2009, Martin Sheeran and I met up and toured a scenic area of Federal lands in one of the Four Corners States, an easy walk from a blacktop road. There we discovered fossilized footprints. Later, we returned with Bob Schweiger and his family. We were able to locate the original sets of prints and found still more.
Altogether, we found seven arguably human prints, thirteen more probably human prints, and numerous others, including sauropod and three-toed dinosaur prints. There were three trails, one with fourteen prints, one with twelve prints, and one with eight prints. These were found over an area 400 yards wide by three miles long, with some outliers. The main area was in upper Jurassic sandstone, with additional prints located in the next layer up.
While some of the footprints we located offer remarkable detail, the first we noticed was relatively indistinct, but still showed a big toe, four other toes, the ball of the foot and a raised arch, and the heel. You can compare the size of the print to Greg Morgan’s US 10 boot:
Next we found two footprints next to each other, which we interpreted to be a man standing still with his feet at an angle of 110 degrees, which is unusual but not unknown.

This next print offers especially clear features:
The big toe and smaller toes have squished mud, and there is mud squished between the toes and the ball of the foot. Further, the small toe is larger than would be expected. When standing in mud, I wriggle my toes, side to side. My little toe cleans itself of mud, leaving mud squished up around it — just like in the footprint. This print also has a raised arch and a distinct heel.
The odds that anyone could fake these features are vanishingly small. To make those odds even lower, there is black lichen growing in this footprint. Lichen colonies of this size take many years to grow. This footprint has most likely been exposed at the surface for hundreds of years. All of the footprints show signs of great age, including this child-sized one:
There was also a less-distinct footprint at 11 ½ inches long:
Greg also found the handprint of an infant:

We found a second infant’s handprint, with thumb and three fingers, but the fourth finger is under a layer of sandstone:
In the same areas they found several prints of sauropod dinosaurs and prints of three-toed dinosaurs. Some three-toed prints had claw prints on the tips of the toes.
This sauropod footprint has a toe projecting to the left. This projecting toe makes this the front foot of an Apatosaurus. The next print is larger and may be the back foot of the same animal:
Fifty feet from these sauropod prints, this human print has five toes, the heel, and the ball, plus the lip on the right showing where the edge of the foot was inserted into the mud — showing the height of the edge of the foot. It is an excellent match for Martin Sheeran’s foot:

What a few evolutionists have said:
Richard Dawkins of Oxford wrote that
“there are certain things about the fossil record that any evolutionist should expect to be true. We should be very surprised, for example, to find fossil humans appearing in the record before mammals are supposed to have evolved! If a single, well verified mammal skull were to turn up in 500 million year old rocks, our whole modern theory of evolution would be utterly destroyed. Incidentally, this is a sufficient answer to the canard, put about by creationist and their journalistic fellow travelers, that the whole theory of evolution is an ‘unfalsifiable’ tautology. Ironically, it is also the reason why creationist are so keen on the fake human footprints, which were carved during the depression to fool tourist, in the dinosaur beds of Texas.” The Blind Watchmaker, 1986, p.225.
Steven M. Stanley, Johns Hopkins University:
“There is an infinite variety of ways in which, since 1859, the general concept of evolution might have been demolished. Consider the fossil record–a little known resource in Darwin’s day. The unequivocal discovery of a fossil population of horses in Precambrian rocks would disprove evolution. More generally, any topsy-turvy sequence of fossils would force us to rethink our theory, yet not a single one has come to light. As Darwin recognized, a single geographic inconsistency would have nearly the same power of destruction.” (The New Evolutionary Timetable, 1981, p.171.
NOVA TV Special, “God, Darwin And The Dinosaurs”:
…dinosaur footprints, side by side with humans. Finding them would counter evidence that humans evolved long after the dinosaurs became extinct and back up…[the] claim that all species, including man, were created at one time.
Yes, all biblical kinds were created at one time — Creation Week.
Ernst Mayr, Harvard:
“Creationists have stated that humans and dinosaurs were contemporaries in time…Were this momentous statement true the names of its discoverers would thunder down the corridors of time as individuals who made one of the most outstanding discoveries of the twentieth century.” ~Gish-Mayr Debate, Evansville, Indiana.
Neither Martin Sheeran nor I want our names to thunder down the corridors of time — but this is the seventh “most outstanding discovery of the twenty-first century”. We note that there have been many more; but this can be well documented.
Niles Eldridge, American Museum of Natural History.,
We have been looking at the fossil record as a general test of the notion that life has evolved: to falsify that general idea, we would have to show that forms of life we considered more advanced appear earlier than the simpler forms. Monkey Business, p.46, 1982.
These footprints are proof that humans (and sheep) were living together with dinosaurs; this qualifies to falsify the general idea of evolution.
Louis Jacobs, Southern Methodist University, Former President of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology:
“co-occurrence of men and dinosaurs. Such an association would dispel an Earth with vast antiquity. The entire history of creation, including the day of rest, could be accommodated in the seven biblical days of the Genesis myth. Evolution would be vanquished.” Quest of the African Dinosaur, p.261.
Consider evolution vanquished.
Now for a test:
Are the above men, men of their word? If so, they will acknowledge that evolution is disproven. Hopefully, they will also accept the claims of the Bible, including the spiritual claims, and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Whether they do or not, we pray that all those who read this presentation will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
