Students are sometimes surprised to hear that when I was in junior high and high school, I really
didn’t like science all that much. That was because I was being taught about science in a totally secular way even though a lot of my teachers were Christian.
They taught science the way that they had been taught to teach science, which is without any reference to God and creation.
But as I began to study with other creation scientists, it has really illuminated how fun science truly is — how fun it’s can be when it is carried out in the way God intended it.
God actually owns science.
He’s the one who commanded scientific exploration way back in Genesis 1:28 when he told humans to subdue and have dominion over the earth. God wants us to do science and learn about the amazing things that he has come up with.
He wants us to follow the evidence to come to proper conclusions about him and in the things that he expects from us. And so, what I’ve learned is that creation science is a blast. It’s made science is so much more fun to study when you get to examine all the things around us from a biblical perspective.
