What do Creationists Believe about Adam and His World?

Creationists 101: Adam in the Garden video still

This is another installment in our Creationism 101 series where we try to present creationist beliefs about Genesis in an accessible way that anybody could understand.

Today, we want to look at the events of Genesis chapter 2 and how young age creationists understand those events. In the previous episode, we looked at a whole list of alleged contradictions or discrepancies between Genesis 1 and 2, but this time we’ll be examining each point to see what the passage tells us.

We’ll examine the meaning of the word “Adam,” discuss whether Genesis 2 says there was no rainfall before the Flood, what were the “generations” of Genesis, and more.
