Stickiness
How do ants and bees walk upside down on smooth surfaces? How do they climb a glass window?
Try this experiment. Tear a small piece of paper, wet it completely, and then place it on a window. It sticks, not because water is glue, but because of air pressure.
One side of the paper has air pressing against it, while the other side, the side against the glass, has no air pressing against it. This is what holds the paper against the glass.
Ants, and spiders, and other insects have very clever feet. Each foot has hooks for gripping rough surfaces and a wet pad for smooth surfaces. The wet pad swings down and presses against the glass, so air pressure will press against the top of the foot.
Did ants and spiders design their own feet? Did they invent the hook and pad machinery? Of course not. These designs came with the insects when God created them.
The more we discover about creation, the more evidence we see which points us to our wise and wonderful Creator.

The Unseen Wind
But isn’t God something like wind—you can see His effects but can’t see Him. Both yes and no. 2,000 years ago, God took on human flesh. John the Apostle wrote,
“What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life—and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us—what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.”
We cannot see Him now, however. I turn 78, Lord willing, next month, and I have never seen Jesus. I expect to see Him some day, however. He said that “an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.” He will be the supreme judge over all, including all in the so-called “Supreme Court” of the USA.
I will see Him. You will see Him. I am ready because Jesus’ perfection is over me. I got it as a gift. He took my filth on the cross and has given me and all those in Him His perfect robe. Want it? Humbly as Him for it.
