Dr. David Stone is a scientist, a laser physicist, and a Christian. When he was a teenager he embraced atheism and evolution, but fortunately he met a Christian who could answer his questions.

David loves sharing the gospel and he loves showing how science supports the Bible. Because he used to be an atheist, he finds it easy to speak to college students who are as he used to be. As for evolution, he has not heard any convincing proof that living things could have come about by accident—they are too complex and they show too many design features to be the product of chance plus time.

He would like all evolutionary biologists to take an engineering design course.

Laser technology is the application of God’s physical laws. Lasers work because the laws work. The laws always work the same way every time when the same conditions are met. This reflects the God who made the laws. He also is reliable and does not change—he is always a God of love for all eternity.

Dr. David Stone served 20 years on research assignments for the United States Air Force and acted as chairman for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan Technological University. He said,

I’ll state categorically that it is impossible for any protein, not to mention the larger structures inside the cell or the cell itself, to arise by undirected chemical processes.

So why do so many evolutionary scientist affirm that proteins must have formed naturally over eons?

It is because the only other choice is to affirm God and they hate God. Why do they hate him?

Is it because he makes delicious fruits and nuts for them to eat? Is it because he has given them an immune system to combat diseases and doctors to study medicine and care for patients?

No, they need a God who will reach into their chests and replace the stony heart with a living one. God promised to do that in Ezekiel 36:26, and he did it to Paul on the Damascus Road.

He’s done it to me and many others. Would you kie him to give you a heart transplant?

Humbly ask him to forgive your sins by his blood and to wrap you in his robe of perfection. He took sin on the cross and gives in exchange his robe of righteousness as a free gift.

His is the only righteousness allowed into heaven (Matthew 6:33).

Hi, I’m Cheri Fields: 2nd generation homeschooling mom of seven, wife, writer, and science lover. There is a wealth of information available to help people see how trustworthy God and His testimony in the Bible is. The key is to explain concepts simply so they can be understood by anyone. This is my goal, and I’ve had a lot of fun tackling areas where the world tests our faith. CreationScience4Kids.com
