Stop Building Your Theories on a Pile of Assumptions

Darker Energy video still

Trying to make sense of the functioning of the universe beyond Earth’s atmosphere is hard enough; when you stack materialistic assumption on materialistic assumption about how the universe developed, you’re likely to be in for an unpleasant fall.

Today’s article discusses unexpected findings in astronomy and the chaos it is wreaking on the cosmological community as they try to fit the realities into their suites of conjecture, especially around the idea of “dark energy.” It makes an excellent example of the danger scientists face as they unwittingly attempt to combine quality science with a faulty worldview.

May we help the wider community find its true north as we point to the real history of the universe that allows us to unflinchingly face whatever information our observations of outer space presents to us!

Dr Charl

Written by Dr. Charles Jackson

Dr. Charles Jackson has four degrees in science and education and taught secondary school sciences 11 years, then college biology and chemistry 6 years, and then teacher education classes 6. In 2003, Dr. Jackson founded Points of Origins and began teaching, speaking, and debating in creation science education. Keenly interested in liberating Christian students from the delusion that their faith has been refuted by modern science, Dr. J crusades against evolutionary dogma on college campuses across the United States. He has presented creation science instruction in churches, to both secular and Christian high school and college faculties, to student assemblies from elementary through high school, and to Christian groups on many college campuses.
